While listening to the new Connected episode 189 you could have heard me shouting: „NO! You are wrong!!!“ when the hosts Federico Viticci, Myke Hurley and Mr Stephen Hackett agreed on the obsolescence of printed magazines.

Whenever I am at a train station visiting the newspaper stand (that normally is a big store) I am sure that there are still many readers of paper products.

What a long preface to announce the upcoming Offscreen issue no. 19. That is available only on awesome smelling paper, bound as a Swiss brochure so you can enjoy reading even more.

Super Super 5

Der Super5-Füller ist mir schon vor einigen Jahren, als er auf den Markt kam, aufgefallen. Aber als alter hanseatischer Pfeffersack war mir der Versand immer zu teuer.

Jetzt lag der Füller im Schaufenster des schönen pop-up-paper-Geschäfts, und nachdem ich einige Tage um ihn herumgestrichen bin, habe ich ihn mir heute endlich gekauft, mit der „klassischen“ 0,5mm-Feder.

Was mich zuerst überraschte, war sein Gewicht. Er sieht ja sehr nach einem Kunststoffprodukt aus – was er auch ist, und was grundsätzlich nichts schlechtes ist. Doch ist das vordere Teil aus Metall gearbeitet, was den Füller angenehm in der Hand liegen läßt.

Und der Tintenfluß ist großartig – da hat das Produktvideo nicht zu viel versprochen.
